Happy trading,

Last week I shared a short article on trap entries and how they're applicable in all markets and all timeframes. It was essentially just based on the following image: This led to a comment on facebook as follows: "When you show an example like that it seems to be so easy, but to get in…
There is not much that needs to be written on this topic. The title really says it all. There is a lesson in EVERY trading session. Your job, in maximizing your rate of development as a trader, is to find that lesson. Actually, there is more than one lesson in every session, but if you…
I was recently asked on Twitter about my pre-session analysis. My response was simply that I've outlined the process in detail in the YTC Price Action Trader. However, since publication, I have added a couple of minor steps. Let's look at one today. It occurs just once a day, right at the beginning of…
Sideways trend structure is more common than many new traders imagine. So it’s important to learn how to recognise a sideways market. (For my Sideways Trend Definition, see Page 101 (and Fig 3.44) of Chapter 3 of the YTC Price Action Trader.) And it’s important to find the way that YOU best trade this market….
In 2012 I commenced a YouTube video series – YTC Introduction to Technical Analysis. For various reasons, this series was unfinished. Perhaps it will be completed one day in the future. Perhaps not. Incredibly simple in concept. But very effective. Please review the prior article if you missed…
Very good lesson. Patience and scratch. Thanks Lance.
Thanks Manuel, I’m glad you’ve found value in the article.
All the best of luck with your trading,
Lance.

There is a lot of this happening at the moment. Difficult conditions as the markets seem to be slowing down early for the Xmas / New Year period, resulting in lots of stalling action, slow grinding movement and retest after retest.
Thanks for educating us with valuable postings, definitely you are doing a great service 🙂 to the struggling trading community
You’re welcome Ramesh. Best of luck with your trading.
